Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and Sweden have proposed a REACH restriction to address the risks to the environment and human health from the manufacture, placing on the market and use of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). A six-month consultation on the proposal started on 22 March 2023.
