GreedFall Part 23 - A Corrupted Beach Guardian and a Corrupted Mountain Guardian Last time, we chose a high king, but now we are having issues among the other capitals. A couple messengers from Theleme and Hikmet let us know that their towns are under attack, so we go to investigate both. We protect the outpost camps from beast attacks, then have to go search for some missing messengers. Each path leads us to investigate further, which reveals the source of the animal attacks. Each faction is led by a corrupted guardian. A regular guardian, but emitting a black smokey sickness and is controlling the beasts of the land to attack the villages. Our first encounter with one is a corrupted Beach Guardian. This battle is with the natives, and is a bit frustrating because of our inability to jump off a ledge while in combat. We eventually save the village and take out the beast, then move on to search for the other messengers. Our investigation this time, leads us to a corrupted mountain guardian, which is easier to take out than the beach guardian was. The mystery deepens, but with the towns safe for now, we decide to inform Constantine then take a break. Constantine seems eager to take a break as well, and says he has to go. Hmm seems a bit suspicious. We will tail him in the next episode and see what we can find out.
