Bucharest, the vibrant capital of Romania, is a city full of history, stunning architecture, and a rich food scene. In this video, we take you on a journey through its most iconic landmarks and hidden gems. Our adventure begins at Revolution Square, the site of Romania’s 1989 revolution. Standing beneath the balcony where Nicolae Ceaușescu gave his final speech, we reflect on the moment that changed the country’s future. From there, we visit the Royal Palace, now home to the National Art Museum. While we couldn’t explore inside this time, we take in its grand architecture and history from the outside. Next, we stop by the breathtaking Romanian Athenaeum, one of the most beautiful concert halls in Europe. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to go inside here also, but even from the outside, its domed roof and intricate details make it one of the most impressive buildings in Bucharest. Of course, no trip to the city is complete without seeing the massive Palace of Parliament, one of the largest buildings in the world. We did a guided tour of one hour and we captured it for you! We then wander through the lively streets of Lipscani, Bucharest’s Old Town, where history meets nightlife. Tucked away among the historic buildings, we find Pasajul Macca-Vilacrosse, a charming glass-covered arcade that feels like a little slice of Paris. For a change of pace, we visit the National Village Museum, an open-air museum showcasing traditional Romanian homes from different regions. We also explore the spiritual side of the city at the Patriarchate of Romania and the stunning Stavropoleos Monastery, a hidden gem in the heart of Old Town. A trip to Bucharest wouldn’t be complete without stopping at its famous bookstore, an architectural masterpiece that’s a dream for book lovers. And, of course, we dive into the local food scene, tasting traditional Romanian dishes and discovering some amazing flavors along the way. Before we wrap up, we take you inside our apartment to give you a glimpse of what staying in Bucharest is really like. Come along as we explore the best of Bucharest’s history, culture, and food! https://ursusbrowntravel.com / ursusbrowntravel / ursusbrowntravel / ursusbrowntravel Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell for more travel adventures. #Bucharest #Romania #TravelVlog #History #Foodie #HiddenGems
