Today, I'm headed out on what should have been a straightforward job. I’m here to repo a shed, just another day in the life, right? But as I pull up, the customer tells me something unexpected. He says the shed is paid off. Now, this isn't the first time I’ve heard that line before.So, I do what anyone would do in my shoes—I call the Rental Company, I mean, I’m not just here to take someone’s shed without proof. But despite my paperwork showing outstanding payments, he insists it’s all cleared. Talk about a twist! After a bit of back and forth, I realize I need to take a step back and confirm the details. Nothing's worse than making a mistake. Finally, after a few weeks the rental company sends me a message. And guess what? The shed still has an outstanding balance!Back to the site I go, and let me tell you, my heart races as I approach the shed again. The customer comes out and is expecting me. So, I get the equipment ready and take one final look at the shed. With a sense of resolution, I hook it up and drive away. It’s done; the shed is officially repossessed.Sometimes, you just have to follow through on your job, no matter how complicated it gets.
