Time Travel Lab COMACINI, Masters of Cathedrals | Generative AI Images

AI, Tourism, and Culture The TIME TRAVEL LAB, The history of the Comacini Masters regenerated with Artificial Intelligence, is part of the IATH Academy Innovation Design Labs for the Future of Tourism. The story of the MASTER COMACINI builders, protagonists of an international tourist destination where the artisanal culture made in Italy has created places to dwell in beauty. This lab go beyond an everyday edu-tech project by creating a new tourist product – a meta destination - bridging the real with the virtual. This is not intended to replace traditional tourism experiences but to enhance the existing ones by adding innovative digital content. The chosen theme is the COMACINI MASTERS, known since the early Middle Ages as master builders, the protagonists of Lombard Romanesque architecture, who spread innovative solutions in Italy and Europe. ReGenerative History methodology, elaborated with AI in the IATH workshop in partnership with Carraro Lab, creates hyper-realistic images with rigorous scientific references to documents, depictions, historical finds. ReGenerative History refers to multiple disciplines, such as anthropology, archaeology, history, art history.
