I'm sure most of you will have heard about the 389 and 399 which both creep around Barnet for only 5 hours a day. These two routes operate on hourly frequencies and are both perfect for me to cover in this video. It's been about 30 years since the introduction of the current 399 and it has been 28 years since what ended up as part of current 389 when the two routes were at one stage merged with one another. In this video, I'll discuss the current setup with the two routes, the histories of both the services and how I believe they could be improved.
