Heading Home Camping De L’Etang Brissac Quince Exploring Angers

As we begin our journey back home, we leave the tranquil charm of Île de Ré behind and make our way to Camping De L'Etang in Brissac-Quincé. The route is smooth for the most part, although our sat nav leads us briefly astray down an unsuitable road—just one of those classic road trip moments! During our stay at L'Etang, we hop on a local bus into Angers, where we spend a wonderful day wandering the city, soaking in its rich history, elegant architecture, and vibrant atmosphere. On our final day, we enjoy a peaceful stroll into Brissac-Quincé, winding down our adventure surrounded by the scenic Loire Valley countryside. Hi, we are Jules and Gary. We live on the east coast and have been motorhoming for 7 years and are on our second motorhome, 'Annie'. We are looking forward to sharing our adventures, primarily in the UK, but trips to Europe occasionally too. Once we have parked up on site, we don't move Annie, so we look for sites where we can walk, cycle, or use public transport to explore the area.
