I took the CF Moto C800EPS on a ride to Crown King, AZ. This is a 64 mile round trip from the Senator Highway outside of Prescott, AZ Along the way I thought about the advantages of an ATV over a side-by-side for this rocky area. The biggest advantage is that you can ride one SIDE of the trail and avoid the ruts and rocks! Another big advantage is that you are riding on top of the motor - in the wind - and it is a lot cooler than being cooped up in the cockpit. You are also not choking on dust being sucked in behind the windshield. Many times along the trail, especially on rough uphill sections, I choose to stand on the floor boards. This is riding more like a motocross bike than sitting in a car. There is also plenty of power for two passengers. The C800EPS has the SAME motor as the Z800 side by side! This means better power-to-weight. The lighter weight is also a huge advantage if you ever get stuck! You have a comfortable 2-person seat, including a backrest for the passenger. But you can also ride the C800EPS solo. You can even swap the passenger seat for a storage box. I also appreciate the lower purchase price, the higher fuel mileage, the ease of trailering with my midsize truck, and the fact that the C800EPS fits in my garage! I know side-by-sides outsell ATV's 10 to 1 these days. But there are a lot of reasons you should consider an ATV.
