The video presents a concurrent UT-DSAEK and phacoemulsification with PC-IOL implantation in an eye with advanced cataract and corneal decompensation, due to a long-standing eyelash in the anterior chamber, partially attached to the cornea. We consider which would be the best technique for this patient, in terms of safety and functional results: DMEK, DSAEK or PK, considering the morphological changes of the cornea and, on the other hand, extracapsular cataract extraction on "open sky", versus phacoemulsification on closed eye, but with poor visibility). We also present postop results in the next days and months after the surgery.
