The ominous Swastika flag of the Nazi Third Reich paraded through the streets of London, with full military honours and an adoring crowd.  Sounds like a horror movie.  But in 1936, when then German Ambassador to Britain, Dr Leopold von Hoesch, died suddenly at his residence in London, his funeral resulted in just such an event. The Swastika flag and Nazi Regime would go on to have a completely different meaning in history, and von Hoesch, who was openly vocal against the Nazi regime, would have hated to have been associated with it. This was a Nazi funeral, not the funeral of a Nazi.
