RAF Snaith Museum is located at the former WAAF Site Number 1 in Pollington. It has been created by a group of volunteers as a place to remember and celebrate the lives of the men and women of 150 Squadron, 51 Squadron and the Women’s Land Army, who all served there between 1941 and 1949. The museum is housed in the former WAAF Officer’s Mess and Quarters and showcases stories and artefacts from RAF, 4 Group Bomber Command and the Land Army. It stands as a memorial to the 205 airmen of 150 Squadron and 687 airmen of 51 Squadron, lost on active duty. Reports of ghost sightings have been seen at the museum and the surrounding air fields!
