Customizing a FMS Chevy K10 RC Crawler with a Custom Designed and 3D Printed Bed Cap

Over the past few months FMS has sent a variety of their highly detailed 1/18 scale RTR RC crawlers for review. I've been very impressed by each of these vehicles and knew right away I wanted to design a variety of accessories for them. These will help make them my own and allow you all to customize your rigs as well. The first parts I decided to tackle was a bed cap. Also known as a camper shell or bed cab, for years these have a been a popular full scale accessory for real pickups, so it makes sense to recreate one in 1/18 scale. I had a lot of fun designing this piece, and although a few tweaks need to be made, it turned out awesome! Stay tuned for an update on this part, and more accessories being designed.
