Abecedarians "Press Escape" band's rehearsal space Newport Beach, CA Was originally believed to have been filmed in 1985, but most likely was later. This was recorded at the same rehearsal space that they shared with the band, Man from Missouri. Footage was shot by band friend Matt Dike who was a DJ at the Los Angeles club Power Tools and who also went on to start up the record label, Delicious Vinyl. Chris also told me that the reason he had so much tape wrapped around the microphone was that he kept getting shocked that day! Footage taken from VHS sourced from the band. These were first uploaded back in 2016 at the behest of Eugene Sotela, who loved this band with all his heart and who will always be remembered...all I can do is honor his memory through sharing this footage. Individual tracks will start appearing throughout the month of October.
