This is a discussion of the information Minnesota has learned about how street sweeping can remove phosphorus from stormwater runoff at a cost of less than $100/lb. The discussion is between one of the top water quality experts in the country, Randy Neprash, and Ranger Kidwell-Ross, Editor of WorldSweeper.com, the largest resource base on the planet for power sweeping. Randy Neprash, PE, is a water resources consultant who works for the community-focused international engineering services company, Stantec Consulting. He serves as staff with the Minnesota Cities Stormwater Coalition and is Vice-Chair of the National Municipal Stormwater Alliance. Ranger Kidwell-Ross, MA, has covered the power sweeping industry since 1988; was founder of the first magazine for power sweeping (American Sweeper magazine); and, for the last 16 years, has owned and operated WorldSweeper.com. He is also founder and Director of the World Sweeping Association.
