A look at the 3 manual organ of Kirkby Stephen Parish Church, Cumbria. This was first built by Isaac Abbott, presumably of Leeds, if that has any connections to Abbott and Smith. This organ was however rebuilt by Abbott and Smith in 1920, and it's case was designed by Norman Shaw who had restored the Church itself. You can see the organ works behind the case in the video and I hope to have a go on this wonderful organ. Note that Kirkby Stephen Church has no official dedication, though it is often referred to as St Stephen's, I tend to call it St Stephen's, although it could of been dedicated to St John at one point. Whatever, this is most commonly referred to as St Stephen's. The NPOR referrers it to St Stephen. This church serves the Anglican and Catholic population of the town.
