Sea of Thieves is one of my favorite video games, and the board game version is an impressively close adaptation to its digital sibling. Fans of the video game will find many mechanisms familiar, at least in spirit. The problem is, there is a fatal flaw in its design that greatly impairs its ability to emulate the video game.
