UPC Celebrates Dokolo Victory UPC party president Jimmy Akena has spoken out his mind after hotly contested by-election in Dokolo district. Akena says the party’s big dream is to sweep all the parliamentary positions in Lango Sub region and beyond. Ambience Uganda People’s Congress- UPC party President, Jimmy Akena and his newly elected Dokolo woman MP traversed Dokolo in a long convoy. The procession begun from the candidate’s home in Okwongodul sub county in Dokolo South. Along the way, voters kept waving and cheering at the congressman, while others were moved by the campaign song. From Dokolo, they headed to Lira town and camped at Jimmy Akena’s home. Many could be seen dancing around late Obote’s Monument on his compound. Others moved aside to show their rare styles after the victory.
