At Wings India 2026 in Hyderabad, aerospace innovator Wisk Aero, a Boeing subsidiary, unveiled what it calls the world’s first fully autonomous four-seater electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, marking a major leap toward the future of urban air mobility. Designed for short urban trips, the pilotless aircraft promises safer, quieter, and more environmentally friendly transportation. Representing the sixth generation of Wisk’s development and backed by over 15 years of research, the aircraft successfully completed its first flight in December 2025.
