550HP BMW M4 G82 CSL in action on Goodwood Hillclimb: Accelerations & Exhaust Sound

Unveiled last May during the 2022 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este in Italy, BMW brought their new M4 CSL to the Goodwood Festival of Speed as the M division turned 50 this year and decided to celebrated with a special and limited edition car. The M4 CSL is the first BMW to wear a CSL badge since the iconic M3 E46. It’s a track-focussed, lightweight version of the BMW M4 Competition limited to only 1,000 examples. The M4 CSL weighs 108 kg less than the M4 Competition and gains 40hp. Its S58B30 enigne, a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-6, has been modified and now it's able to produce 550hp and 650Nm of torque. The engine is linked to a 8-speed transmission with carbon fiber shift paddles mounted on the steering. The M4 CSL set a 7'20''.207 lap time for the 20.8 km track (full lap) of the Nürburgring (7'15''.677 on the 20.6 km track traditionally used as a benchmark).
