It has also been identified as the root cause of major incidents that result in large fines and blemished reputations. Smart organizations are addressing this issue with Asset Information Management (AIM) programs to improve asset information quality and usability. Some focus on design information, others on operating information. Both are important, and benefits can be greatly enhanced when the program includes integration of these two worlds. In this session attendees will learn about the approaches that leading industrial organizations are taking to manage their critical asset information across design and operating domains. This will include a discussion of the solutions they are using to facilitate this task.
