Garrett Falls Lockhart (May 16, 1990), known professionally by his stage name i_o, was an American DJ and record producer of electronic dance music, including EDM, Progressive House, Deep House, Techno, Trance and Drum & Bass. He worked since 2017 with Deadmau5's record label Mau5trap. He entered 2018 in the best House and Techno charts, and although he was a debut artist in those charts, he was one of the most loved artists by the public. In 2020 he signed with the prestigious Dutch label Armada Music and created his own label called 'Label 444'. Both labels would release different styles of Garrett with his own label having the Underground sound while Armada Music would release his Trance and Progressive tracks. On 23 November 2020 he died suddenly at the age of 30. On May 18, 2021 his family reveals the cause of his death. A "sudden and fatal arrhythmia" caused by late-stage Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Just 2 years after his death and thanks to his family on 23 November 2022 his posthumous album 'Warehouse Summer' was released through the Armada Music label to close his musical career recorded and composed in 2020 together with Canadian singer Lights.
