P&O Cruise The Great British Sail Away Party

Perhaps one of the last Great British Sail Aways? P&O have upset many traditional cruise ship passengers announcing they have 'banned' the patrotic singalong and Union Jack flag waving. For years the last sail away back to the home port of Southampton was marked with a pool deck party with flags, bunting and patriotic songs. With Rule Britannia, Jerusalem and the Dambusters tune passengers joined in with the ships entertainment team amongst the plastic flags and bunting. P&O say they are trying to appeal to a more international market and reduce the amount of single use plastic onboard.
