REResistance: The Sweatiest Solo Q Win of the Month

Solo queue match where I got a Jill, Martin, and Valerie as my random teammates-- all of whom I thought were fairly decent, but incredibly irritating and annoying in various different ways. This was against XOXE-500, who was running a spam Spencer build, and right from the outset, I knew that the match was going to be hard. We stuck together and got the puzzle pieces pretty easily in area 1, and I even got a couple of active cameras, but area 2 was where it got a lot more difficult. Jill and I found and took out Yorick pretty quickly and easily-- but after XOXE used the D-fields to scare Jill away from the terminal, she took an irritatingly long time to go back in to take care of the terminal-- in the meantime making me blast through my resources trying to keep the cameras locked down for her. Martin and Valerie had been frustratingly absent, and once they got there, they hardly seemed to help, leaving me to revive Jill after coming back from resupplying. We were fortunately able to do the second and third terminals fairly okay, and we made it to area 3 with good time... but by that point, I was already starting to get slightly frustrated with my teammates, and I worried about how the match was going to go from there. In area 3, afraid of a D-field after a flash blinded us, I took out both cameras in the hall without trying to time them out, which appeared to have been a good decision. Getting down to the first core was difficult, and trying to time out the cameras was even more so... but I was at least able to get an active camera right as my teammates took out the first core. I went to the item box to patch up, but ended up having to spend most of my ammo fighting my way through an ivy to get to the second core. XOXE was being very difficult on cameras again, but I was at least able to get one active one-- and despite his best attempts to have me use Instant on another camera, I was able to keep the primary camera locked down with Instant instead. The third core spawned fortuitously nearby. I was able to actually get three active cameras in a row-- but unfortunately, Valerie and Martin both decided to resupply around the same time I did, and Jill didn't seem to be doing a lot of damage to the cores. I got back in time to see Jill fighting off new monsters, and although I was able to get an active camera again, Jill and Valerie both got caught in the D-field, and I had to revive them both. It then took us far too long to fight through the creatures again (during which I got downed, but was fortunately revived). The scramble to get the final core done was chaotic. I was able to get one more active camera, and then I (probably unwisely) unloaded the rest of my MQ ammo into the core to get it finished. But Valerie made the terrible, terrible decision to pull the final exit immediately after we were done, giving XOXE loads more bioenergy, and making our trek to the exit almost impossible. I got grabbed by an ivy, rescued at the last minute by Martin, downed again by an invincible creature, revived by Valerie coming back with a FAS, and then downed again by a second ivy. Annoyingly to my great anger, Valerie and Martin didn't bother saving me from that last ivy and instead ran past and hid in the final exit alcove, and I was sure I was going to bleed out and respawn, essentially sealing my fate with all the bioenergy XOXE had, and with what little time we had left. Luckily, however, Jill managed to fight off an ivy and was then kind enough to revive me and not just ditch me like Valerie and Martin had. She revived me in time, and although I had no healing items left, I was able to make it in time to Valerie's infuriatingly placed spray. I ran through it long enough to heal myself and get around the creatures, cussing Valerie and Martin out as I went, and then I took out one last active camera as I finally made it to the safety of the alcove. Martin then wasted our time just a few seconds longer, and with that, we finally made our escape. This was an incredibly sweaty match, with some really frustrating and irritating moments from my teammates, and XOXE hardly faltered on cameras. It took a lot of mind games to stay on top, and it was only through sheer determination that we were all ultimately able to make it.
