Mrs.Vahchef is very fond of cooking and her Recipes are very unique and fit for busy women specially working women The Papaya Halwa is another sweet delicacy made for special religious events. Papaya is a fruit commonly available and has many health benefits. It is rich in vitamin A and is a good source of fiber. INGREDIENTS: Ghee 3 tsp Raw papaya 1 nos Milk 1 cup Jaggery 1 cup Water As required Cashew nuts 8-10 nos Raisins 8-10 nos Desiccated coconut 1 tbs Almonds 5 nos METHOD: 1. Heat ghee in pan, add grated raw papaya saute it, cook it for 5 mins until it becomes soft. 2. Add milk and cook it. 3. Boil jaggery with little water in a pan until we get one string consistency, later add to papaya mixture and cook it. 4. Heat ghee in another pan and add cashew nuts, raisins, desiccated coconut, almonds and saute it, transfer into papaya mixture and cook for 2 mins, until it become thick. 5. Now raw papaya halwa is ready to serve.
