British celebrities from the BAME community have come together to dispel myths around the Covid vaccine. The video, organised by Adil Ray, features himself along with Romesh Ranganathan and Meera Syal amongst others to portray the vaccine in a positive light and encourage people to take it when offered. New figures have found that white people in England aged 80 + are being vaccinated at twice the rate of Black people. A recent poll by the Royal Society of Public Health suggested 57% of Black, Asian and minority ethnic people would be happy to have the coronavirus vaccine, compared with 79% of white people.
