Jose Orlando Padron founded his cigar brand "Padron Cigars" in Miami Florida in 1964, and latter moved his operation to Esteli Nicaraga. Family owned and operated, Jose and his son Jorge Padron, head one of the wolds most famous Nicaraguan premium cigars brands. Their "hand rolled" cigars, are known for their full strength, box pressed, dark maduro wrappers, with flavor notes of coffee and coca... like the ones found in the Padron 6000 Maduro. The 6000 series also comes with a natural wrapper, sitting at 5,1/2" by 52 ring gauge. This box pressed Torpedo with maduro wrapper will deliver complexity, rich flavor and creamy smoke. These cigars generally have a "toothy" and "oily wrapper", making them great for aging. With a grainy (white spotted) ash. Large, thick smoke and great burn, the only thing that could ever ruin this cigar...is a rain cloud! Just one cigar, in a whole line up of greats...
