National Assembly statements 8 November 2016 In a statement to the National Assembly today, ACDP President, Rev Kenneth Meshoe MP, said that concerning statements made recently by EFF leader, Julius Malema, who told his supporters that they (EFF) were not calling for the "slaughtering of white people, for now ..." were highly inflammatory and amounted to hate speech. Meshoe called on all political party leaders to rather choose to build a non-racial society. "I remain convinced that all race groups in our country need each other to make progress and improve our economy, create jobs, narrow the equality gap and turn this beautiful country into a model of reconciliation, peace and prosperity -- where respect for God, for one another and for property, becomes the hallmark of our legacy," he said.
