To introduce you all to the term Hymenoplasty, also known as hymenorrhaphy, is the cosmetic repair, restoration, or construction of a woman’s hymen. Restoration of the hymen is also referred to as revirginization. By undergoing this surgery one can have an intact hymen as it was before having the first intercourse. Clinically speaking, however, a torn or damaged hymen is not just indicative of a sexual intercourse it may also be there due to other activities such as vigorous sports and dance.
