What's Behind the Fresh Chaos in Syria? Fresh Battles Started - Victory for Ahmad al-Sharaa? The Wide Side In this video we discussed Iran situation as groups are fighting with each other as Syrian Popular Resistance comprises of Bashar al Assad supporters and Alawite community who are battling the HTS and govt forces in the coastal regions of Syria on Mediterranean Sea, namely Latakia and Tartous. Syrian govt forces took control of the coastal areas and started operations against the fresh rebel groups of ex army men. Also, in a big development, Kurdish led SDF, Syrian Democratic Forces and Govt Led hayat tahrir al-sham HTS of Ahmad al-Sharaa also made a deal where SDF would be integrated into Syrian State and give up governmental control and rule the North East areas jointly with central Syrian Govt. We discussed the latest situation, Russian bases in Latakia and Tartous and how people took shelter in them and Israel moves in the South. We discussed the larger geopolitics in the region as Iran backed Hezbollah with unconfirmed reports supported Alawites against the govt forces and also Iran condemned the Syrian rulers for the latest security situation. On the other side, Arab states have re included Syria in the OIC after 13 years, giving more legitimacy to new rulers of Syria. Turkey and Erdogan are heavily lobbying for the new rulers and Turkey also wants a greater role in the Middle Eastern region.
