Marcos Valles career has stretched some three decades. He has written numerous bossa standards including Summer Samba and The Crickets sing for Ana Maria, two of the most successful and most covered Brazilian songs of all time. He has collaborated with Sarah Vaughan, Chicago and Frank Sinatra, Milton Nascimento at different points in his career and has earned numerous awards for his contribution to Brazilian culture. Nova Bossa Nova , sees Marcos develop a new funkier sound which brings bossa bouncing back into the Nineties. It captures the spirit of his early recordings with tunes like Frieo Aerodynamico, through to the title track Nova Bossa Nova , a tale of modern day life and love. Other gems; include Bar Ingles an instrumental jazz-fusion looper with programmed beats and A Vontade de Rever Voce a beautiful love ballad.
