Ixion SimRacing XMas 2025 Special delivered pure Super Touring chaos at Sachsenring GP in RaceRoom Racing Experience. With no prior practice time, I had to learn the circuit during the pre-race session — and thanks to @n‪@nenadvladisavljevic4256‬tips, I managed to drop my lap times by nearly 5 seconds before qualifying. I initially qualified P6, but unfamiliarity with the tight Sachsenring layout and the narrow width of FWD Super Touring cars in comparison to GT3 cars led to multiple mistakes, dropping me to P8 for Race 1. Race 2 featured a fully reversed grid and instant combat: heavy door-to-door action in the opening corners ended with me being pushed and spun into the gravel at T3, but I recovered back to P9. Race 3 followed a similar pattern — contact, recovery, overheated tires, flat spots, and a major brake lock-up that sent me off track — eventually finishing P8 again. Despite the results, this was a fantastic learning experience racing against some of the best Super Touring drivers, and a huge step forward for me in RaceRoom.
