I just got my first EQ pedal today. After seeing the guys on That Pedal Show run through the numerous uses for one i decided to pick one up for my Micro terror, as it only has one contour knob. This pedal cost me £20 second hand (they're about £35 new i think). I was hoping to add some more midrange chewiness to my tone, and generally boost the bite a little, but without using a distortion or overdrive ( i plan to use those as a further solo boost when, needed). This set up can definitely cover lots of great blues and rock tones. it works as a fantastic straight boost, and is also great to just tweak your amp eq, if that's what you're after. The Joyo is also true bypass, meaning when it's turned off your guitar tone doesn't lose any high end. Highly recommended, and it will definitely be staying on my pedalboard! / thebadmotivator
