Cheap Wireless Remote For Bale Bed

I bought a new bale bed for my truck recently and was interested in the wireless remote option for the bed. The dealer quoted me right at $1000 for the wireless remote which seemed a bit high. After getting the bed installed, I looked into adding an after market remote to run the bed. I found quite a few options on Amazon for "crane hoist wireless remotes" but not any information on how to wire them in to make them work. After trial and error, I figured out how to wire in the remote on an electric over hydraulic system. This video contains wiring diagrams and info on how to wire in the remote receiver on my new C5 Rancher bale bed. All said and done, I bought the remote for around $80 (price went up a little bit by the time I made the video) and the only other things I needed were some wire connectors, shrink wrap, and some 12v diodes (about $6) to prevent current back flow.
