Of the colors in Magic the Gathering, its safe to say that white has had a rather interesting place in the realm of card design. Compared to other colors its safe to say white has had the least overtly broken or overpowered cards. That’s not to say that white is without powerful cards, in fact white has had potent cards throughout its history. However many of its best cards tend to be more good for being strong answers or compliments to other cards rather than mostly standing on their own in a vacuum. As such, while white’s most pushed and powerful cards are often less overtly broken, they still have had quite an impact on how the game is played.
