A tour of San Leon, Texas (Texas Road Trip Vlog)

San Leon is an unincorporated community on a peninsula against Galveston Bay and Dickinson Bay. Three out of the our corners of the 5 square area are against the water. The population is estimated to be 6,000 people and the people really enjoy kayaking, boating, fishing, drinking and eating shrimp and oysters. There are popular seafood restaurants like Pier 6 and Topwater Grill. Gilhooley's serves up seafood as well and live music and you can also find live music at San Leon Beach Pub. Ultimately I made it out to Sunset Lounge to play some music as part of their San Leon Cemetery and Committee Hot Dog and Frito Pie Fundraiser. Good times.
