"Ich ruf' zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ" is the most popular prelude from Bach's Orgelbuchlein (Little Organ book) and the only one written as a trio The right hand plays a melody, the pedal is a steady pulsing bass, and the left hand ties everything together with an extraordinary middle voice. Always loved this prelude because of its connection to A.Tarkovsky's movie "Solaris" (E. Artem'yev's arrangement). In college, I performed Busoni's transcription, which is not real Bach.
