Growing Education: Planting Seeds

"Planting Seeds" is the second documentary in WCTE’s Growing Education as a part of American Graduate: Let’s Make It Happen, a public media initiative supported by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to help local communities across America address the dropout crisis. This episode will focus on education from the very beginning of a child’s life, and how parents and caregivers make the biggest impact on a child’s lifelong learning. Mental development, socio-economic issues, and health topics will be discussed. Local parents, families, and educators will share stories for success and learning resources for these critical first stages in a child’s education.
