Esta es una de mis canciones favoritas, no ya solo por la fantástica y dinámica melodía, sino porque me recuerda el tiempo que viví en Mexico, un país al que adoro. Allí existe una gran tradición musical, muy orientada hacia la música popular y a su folklore, como cabe esperar de gente tan apasionada y orgulllosa como los mexicanos. Este es mi pequeño tributo a todos ellos. Se la dedico a mi gran amigo mexicano, Sergio, y a Oliver Nadler, que tuvo la generosidad y gentileza de proporcionarme la partitura de este extraordinario arreglo de Julio César Oliva, sin duda el mejor guitarrista mexicano. ---------------------------------------- This is one of my favourite songs, not only due to its fantastic and dynamic melody, but because it reminds me the time when I lived in Mexico, a country that I deeply love. There, there is a great musical tradition, focused mainly on folk and mellodical music, as it is expected from people as passionate and proud as mexicans. This is my little tribute to them all. It is dedicated to my best mexican friend, Sergio, and to Oliver Nadler, who had the generosity and kindness to supply me with the score of this extrordinary arrangement by Julio Cesar Oliva, who is without question the best mexican guitarist.
