In this video, I add fully working Wi-Fi to a CECHB01 PlayStation 3, the only launch PS3 model that shipped without wireless networking. This is not a software trick — it requires: ✔ Micro-soldering missing SMD components ✔ Removing incorrect pull-down resistors ✔ Installing an A/C/E model Wi-Fi + Bluetooth board ✔ Modifying syscon EEPROM via UART ✔ Using Factory Service Mode (FSM) on firmware 3.55 By combining hardware restoration and syscon configuration changes, the CECHB01 becomes functionally identical to a CECHA01 when it comes to Wi-Fi. ⚠️ WARNING This mod is advanced and can permanently brick your console if done incorrectly.
