Impedance Matching ... it is all over the place. It is buried in all sorts of electronics. The common thought among many experimenters is that it is beyond their capabilities. Well, I am here to tell you that it need not be! In this video I am going to show you how to design an L type B impedance matching network using the mathematical equations. What does an L type B configuration look like? As we move in from the input, we first encounter a parallel reactive component and then a series reactive component. We are now at the output. Yep! Just two components! I say "reactive component" because these can be either capacitive or inductive, depending on the route you take. So far in this series, I've had the introductory video to impedance matching. This was followed by two videos on designing the L-type A impedance matching configuration. The first was designing one with the Smith Chart. The second is designing the same one only using the math. The Last video was on designing a L-type B using the Smith Chart.
