VARNISH BATTLE ROYAL! Heavy-weight battle for the best-for-blooms belt! In one corner, Minwax Polycrylic is easy to find and creates a thinner medium. In the other corner, cult-favorite Jo Sonja Gloss Varnish is bragging about her higher viscosity and well-defined cells. Let's see who wins! Hi, I'm Raina, kooky creator and entertaining experimenter, and I've been pour painting in the Sheleeart Bloom style for a few months now and I kept hearing about how great Jo Sonja is for cells. But, the loveliness that is Covid-19 made it impossible to get! Polycrylic is a lot easier to buy, so I said screw it, and polycrylic pouring medium's been my jam. Well, Jo Sonja restocked and I got my grubby little hands on a few bottles, and WOO BOY, I see what everyone was talking about! **Correction** I recorded the voiceover early in the morning before I had my coffee (baaad idea) and incorrectly identified my pouring medium. The correct pouring medium is listed below - the Sherwin Williams HGTV Ultra Deep Base is used in both; the difference is the varnish and the ratio used to achieve similar viscosity. I hope you enjoy! Let me know in the comments which you like best! ************ 👉Join my brand new group, "Artists UnNiched!" / 516558317233694 LET'S CONNECT!
