It records the beginnings of the Christian religion - the Christian church. But, more importantly, the Book of Acts continues the story of the Bible's main character - Jesus Christ. What we see throughout the book of Acts is not just the "acts of the Apostles", but the work of Jesus THROUGH his Apostles.
