*How to Service your Eaton Supercharger on an R53/R52 Mini Cooper S* In this video, I demonstrate how to carry out a supercharger service on an R53/R52 Mini Cooper S, a crucial task recommended at 100k miles. However, this car has only done 54k, and yet one side had no oil, and the other side was very low! 🔧 *Why This Service Matters:* The Eaton supercharger on these engines was originally considered sealed for life, but BMW later revised this to require servicing at 100k miles. Over the years, I’ve serviced superchargers at 70k and often found no oil left in the water pump PTO.
