I recently set out on another walking tour through some of the lesser-known locations around Victoria, British Columbia—places whispered to be haunted, yet ones I haven't featured in a dedicated video… at least, not yet. This latest journey took me through the historic heart of Victoria, where echoes of the past seem to linger in the shadows of old buildings and narrow streets. I also made a stop out in Colwood at the stunning grounds of Royal Roads University, home to the legendary Hatley Castle—a site steeped in ghost stories and supernatural lore. While this was more of an exploratory outing, it offered plenty of eerie atmosphere and potential leads for future deep dives into Vancouver Island’s haunted history. The places I visited included Beacon Hill Park, Fan Tan Alley, the McPherson Playhouse, Market Square, and Hatley Castle—each with its own unique story involving the paranormal.
