Shimano has some awesome awesome reels as do Studio Ocean Mark. There are differences in each brand's thought process, but at the end of the day, we all want the best we can get and in this video, I break down why I chose what I chose. The Wael lent me his F custom for this video because it would have been the natural upgrade for me, however, The Studio Ocean Mark L50 just gives me more of everything. From the 100 Plus grams of weight reduction to the power, capacity and the ease of using a lever drag, and maintenance, it is a reel that just gives you a lot more, even if it costs a bit more than the F custom, and despite the cool function the F Custom has, The L50 is just worth the money you spend on it and leaves very little to wish for. In this video, I also show how I made the Shimano Trinidad 16A into a slow jigging reel by just changing the handle to a longer one. The advantage it has over the Ocea Jigger F Custom and compare the weights of all 3 reels.
