This is my Fibroid story and the journey from discovering my fibroids, trying to find the right doctor and why I had to remove my fibroids as an emergency procedure. I had open Myomectomy with 4 Laparoscopic incisions across my stomach and a 2.5" inch bikini line cut to remove the bigger fibroids. Severe anemia was also in the mix of this with a 4.7 hemoglobin, 5bags of blood, numerous iron(black) injections daily while being in the hospital for 5days.
