Appalling public beating of a woman in Richmond Hill, cops hunt thug

York Regional Police are turning to the public to help identify this tough guy who twice knocked a 22-year-old woman off her feet and onto the sidewalk outside of a bar in Richmond Hill, Ontario, just north of Toronto, causing her serious injuries. The attack happened on April 3, 2016, around 3 a.m., in the area of Highway 7 and East Beaver Creek Road after a fight broke out inside the bar. Outside the fight between two groups continued. While one man beats back people with what appears to be his belt, his buddy, wearing an Adidas track jacket, smashes the woman in the face, knocking her face down on the concrete. After she struggles to get back on her feet, he smashes her in the head a second time, knocking her down again. Police have been unable to identify him and ask for the public’s help.
