SUP Surfing at BSR WAVE POOL in Texas

On a last minute phone call from a friend, I was extremely fortunate to fill a spot on a private trip to BSR Cable Park & Surf Resort. I got to surf 3 different 2 hour private sessions, 1 night and 2 in the day. Unfortunately, no clips from the night session. I rode my shortboard the majority of the time, just because it was such great practice and the wave is so punchy and hollow. Each session I would take the SUP out for a handful of waves. My board felt so good in the pool, the epoxy SUP had that extra float that my fiberglass shortboards were missing. But that being said, my sup was sort of too long for that punchy of a wave. Either way, IT WAS SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!!! Heading back in October, so I am designing new boards now. Can't wait to get back in the pool!!!!!
