How I Became a Botanical and Natural History Illustrator I’m quite often asked how I got into being a botanical and natural history illustrator, so thought I’d make a quick film explaining my story. Although this explains my journey, it’s certainly not the only way to pursue a career in sciart. There are as many different routes into being an illustrator as there are people painting plants and insects.
