One of the most insane experiences of my life on a self-drive safari in Pilanesberg National Park! 🐆 As the sun lowered in the sky, we spotted this stunning leopard hiding in the tall grass, eyes locked on a herd of wildebeest. Then it happened—the leopard crawled right next to our cars, using us as a shield to get within striking distance of its prey. It was so close we could have reached out and touched it (but obviously didn't!). Heart pounding, adrenaline rushing—no kill happened, but watching this Big 5 predator stalk so fearlessly up close was absolutely unreal!
